TLDR; Dell has some lineups that are good quality, some areas of their support are good (enterprise/if you pay a ton), but their software is making the experience of using the machines kinda awful. They switched to cheap-feeling plastic for everything, the keyboards are blah, and now these 7000 series run so hot you actually won't be comfortable using it on your lap, and that seems like it has to impact long-term reliability.
