The area is surrounded by some of the most expensive and nicest natural tourist destinations (Jervis Bay, Kiama, Berry, Bowral, Kangaroo Valley) + Wollongong is less than an hour away. The region around Nowra is beautiful farming country with a strong dairy industry and a number of State forests but is also increasingly a tree-change/sea change retirement and leisure area for Canberra and Sydney.
