The aim of ECCBs is to facilitate the exchange on conservation science and nature conservation practice and policy with the aim of promoting conservation of biological diversity in Europe. Our symposium, titled “Advances in approaches for evaluating conservation impacts and their strength and limitations”, highlighted exciting recent advances in evaluating the impact of different conservation interventions.
